So its been the second week running that we've missed our Friday session..I'm really sad because it makes Fridays that much more normal :( Anyway I'm still going to post excellent stuff that TED thought was cool. Stuff that I second too :) So here goes
Pattie Maes & Pranav Mistry: 6th Sense - Game Changing Wearable Technology
The Sixth Sense is wearable device with a projector that paves the way for profound interaction with our environment. Imagine "Minority Report" and then some.
You can find the video here: Unveiling the Sixth Sense
David Merill: Siftables, the toy blocks that think
Siftables -are cookie-sized, computerized tiles you can stack and shuffle in your hands. These future-toys can do math, play music, and talk to their friends, too. Could this be the next thing in hands-on learning?
(via TED)
(P.S: Really amazing the way technology is changing and the way new media is taking over by leaps and bounds. Hopefully one of these days I'll be a part of something as great as these)
